SEA and its sister companies of Southeast Alabama Gas Supply District (SGS) and The Southeast Alabama Gas District (Southeast Gas) have broad experience in marketing and executing prepayments. In 2007 Southeast Gas executed its first prepay deal totaling $898 million. In 2018, SGS executed two prepayments totaling $1.7 billion. And, from 2021 until October 2024, SEA executed eight prepayments totaling $4.71 billion. Participant companies for these transactions are based or provide services in 15 different states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia.
